To help her ailing and melancholic grandfather, Ramón, 20-year-old Alma embarks on a quest to recover a 2,000-year-old olive tree that the family sold against the grandfathers wishes.

Alma tracks the tree to the Lobby of an energy company in the German city of Düsseldorf and with the help of friends and grassroots activist she hatches a plans to return the tree to its rightful home.
