On her liberation form a concentration disfigured Jewish singer Nelly Lenz (Nina Hoss) goes on a search for her husband Johnny (Ronald Zehrfeld) who she thinks has betrayed her. The film looks at Post-war guilt and how to settle back in a country that persecuted and rejected you. In German with English subtitles
