ABOUT J. WHITING BOOKS/WORLDONLINECINEMA.COM


After obtaining a language degree many moons ago I went on to work at the largest UK language bookshop in London.

In the 1990s I formed J Whiting Books.

J Whiting Books/WWW.Worldonlinecinema.com is a small York based company which has been supplying dvds and books to schools, colleges and universities and individuals for over 25 years.

We specialise in World Cinema, British Cinema on dvd, Documentaries on dvd , Literature on dvd and books on language and cinema.  Our mission is to celebrate cultural diversity and bring a wider understanding of gender, race and other cultures through film and literature. 

We can supply any UK released dvd, cd or book and also source commercial and non commercial materials globally. Sometimes this means contacting the film director and getting them to make a copy of their work.

As a small independent language book and dvd seller with a mission to celebrate cultural diversity, we only collect your information to keep you updated. 

THE KINDS OF INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND USE

The information we might collect from you  is your email address, name, title, postal address, telephone number.

We do not accept credit or debit cards and so do not hold any financial information

Further we never sell your information or allow it to be used by 3rd parties.
