GERMAN AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE (GFL)- is a fully-refereed academic journal which aims to promote research and teaching in the field of German Language. It will publish articles in English and German on all aspects of German language teaching and learning, including the intercultural aspects involved in this process and the specific perspectives on learning and teaching German outside the German-speaking countries.

GERMAN FILMS QUARTERLY

GERMAN FILMS QUARTERLY (GFQ) is a quarterly publication on the current German production scene. Each issue features portraits on German directors, producers and actors, as well as information on new and upcoming German films. The dates of issue are as follows:
Germanfilm.co.uk  -  The German Film Learning Initiative (GFLI) was created in 2013 as part of a collaborative project between the University of Leeds and Cardiff University. Conceptualized, developed, designed and implemented by two PhD researchers, Elizabeth Ward and Hannah O’Connor, the project is designed to support the teaching of German in the classroom and inspire language learners of the future.

The Goethe-Institut - is the cultural institute of the Federal Republic of Germany. On the film front the Institute has a  stock of German dvds that can be  borrowed free of charge. A free video catalogue is available on request. info@london.goethe.or
